HP have recently announced the release of a new monitor in their range" designed to meet the needs of home users of all types' The 2311xi will feature a W)LED backlit IPS panel which is 23, in size' It will offer VGA" DVI)D and HDMI connections ^with HDCP support& for connection of multiple devices' HP seem to be promoting the ,IPS differences, in their collateral as well as this is a step away from the wide range of TN Film based home and office models they~ve offered in the past' The screen also offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution" 7ms G2G response time" 1000•1 contrast ratio ^3 million•1 DCR&" 250 cd$m2 brightness and 178$178 viewing angles'
The HP 2311xi will launch late June in Asia and should reach North America ^$239'99 RRP& and Europe shortly afterwards'
